Mr. Sunil Chordiya is an extraordinary individual who has dedicated his life to the upbringing and development of the blind and handicapped community. Despite being blind since birth, he has selflessly worked towards the betterment of others for the past 37 years. Along with a few members in 1991, he started “Handicap Center, Pune” in Chinchwad, Pune, with a primary focus on complete rehabilitation and personal development for the blind and physically challenged individuals.
The establishment of this institution was made possible due to the able guidance and help of the generous Mr. Kantilal Khinvsar, who shared the vision of providing support and care for the disabled and neglected members of society. Since its inception in 1991-92, the institution has worked tirelessly towards achieving its objective of complete rehabilitation for those in need.
